    agricultural policies on both sides of the Atlantic Sea. It combines common
    sense with innovative views and continuity considerations. Especially objective 15 (promotion of education programs for the public with the goal of raising public awareness and understanding in agricultural matters) and objective 20 (a call for more sophisticated positions on GMO's) are quite exceptional, considering the European background of the writer. In total one of the few concise and accesible overviews of this important issue.
